Dr Tzippora Ben-Harim is a broadly trained specialist gynaecologist at Women’s Health Melbourne. Fluent in both Hebrew and English,  Tzippi is known for her caring, compassionate approach, supporting women with gynaecological care through every life stage. Tzippi began her medical career in general practice for a number of years, during which time she also served as a doctor in the Israeli army.

Tzippi is currently completing her master's in reproductive medicine through the University of New South Wales. She has also completed specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Meir Tertiary Hospital, before relocating with her family to Melbourne in 2011. She undertook two years further urogynaecology fellowship training at The Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne and was awarded FRANZCOG (Fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists) in 2013.

 

Tzippi is an expert in general gynaecology with special interest in peri-menopause and menopause  symptom management. She has pioneered our Shared Antenatal Care program, offering private prenatal guidance to local patients of Women’s Health Melbourne who choose to deliver their baby at Sandringham Hospital.

She is experienced in the management of uterine bleeding problems, contraception, endometriosis treatment and colposcopy. Tzippi is an expert in management of PCOS symptoms, including ovulation induction therapy. Tzippi’s other special interests also include urogynacology and urinary continence control and vaginal prolapse.
